HunTel Systems, Inc., is a
diversified holding and management company with proven expertise in
establishing and successfully growing businesses. Over the last few
decades, we’ve expanded our interests beyond local telephone and
cable television service into consumer services, computer software
programming, business consulting, and international ventures.
Local Presence
As a holding company, HunTel Systems is involved in the daily
operations of HunTel
Telephone Properties, HunTel
Engineering, HunTel.net®,
HunTel CableVision,
HunTel Customer1,
EnSite Incorporated, and
Bass & Associates, Inc.
HunTel Telephone Properties provides more than 12,000 lines of
telephone service in 14 communities across eastern and north central
Nebraska, while HunTel.net provides Internet access to more than
5,700 customers in Nebraska and western Iowa.
With cable television, HunTel CableVision serves 19 rural Nebraska
communities. In 2003, HunTel CableVision began providing local
telephone and long distance service to communities in northeast
Nebraska.
The acquisitions of EnSite, a consulting and software development
company specializing in the energy industry, and Bass & Associates,
an information technology services provider, have allowed us to
diversify even further.
HunTel Systems also provides corporate administrative support
including financing, strategic planning, human resources, marketing,
and customer care to many of the HunTel affiliates.
International Ventures
In Europe, HunTel Systems has applied its telecommunications
expertise through EuroMACC and Pilicka Telefonia.
EuroMACC provides software and billing functions for clients in
Eastern Europe. Based on the successful framework established by
HunTel’s affiliate, Mid America Computer Corp., EuroMACC is
capitalizing on this growing telecommunications market in Europe.
Pilicka Telefonia, which HunTel jointly owns with two other
investors, is a telecommunications company operating in Poland.
Pilicka services a large geographic area with a population of
approximately two million people. Pilicka uses a combination of
fixed wireless, fiber, and copper technologies to promote quality
and innovative service to its customers.
Who We Are
HunTel Systems is headquartered in Blair, Nebraska, with operations
across Nebraska, Hungary, and Poland. HunTel Systems and its
affiliates employ more than 500 associates worldwide.
